Make-A-Wish Foundation in Urgent Need of Airline Miles

75% of the wishes the Make-A-Wish Foundation will grant this fiscal year will involve air travel.
Last fiscal year,* the Make-A-Wish Foundation granted a record 862 wishes. Their chapter is in urgent need of frequent flier miles to make wishes come true for years to come.
Due to the consolidation in the airline industry and the reduction of capacities, Make-A-Wish is limited with the number of gifts they received from airlines directly. What hasn't changed is the ability of friends to gift their unused miles to make wishes come true.
Airline tickets are the Foundation's single largest expense, translating to more than 2,300 airline tickets each year. Donations of frequent flier miles result in substantial savings to the Foundation, at no cost to individuals.
